Simphiwe Kaka (1991) is a South African artist specializing in portraiture. Inspired by his immediate environment, Kaka often portrays rare, personal and mysterious African subjects juxtaposed against fantastical landscapes where culture, the future, ritual and the contemporary world meet and coexist. He says the reason for this is to inspire originality, non conformity and the desire for the youth to fully express themselves and change the world regardless of their demographics, race or space in which they find themselves.
